I want to share something that God laid on my heart. A vision, a revelation, a thought so massive that it reshaped the way I see creation, existence, and our ultimate return to Him. I call it The God Thought—a glimpse into how we all began in Him, how we drift away, and how we will be drawn back into His perfection.
Before Creation | We Were in Him

“Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.” – Ephesians 1:4
Before God spoke the universe into existence, we were already in Him. Think about that for a second. Every single human being, from Adam and Eve to the last person before the rapture, existed in God’s perfection. Billions of bright lights—spirits, souls, perfect creations—all inside Him, all reflecting His glory. This was His original design, His intention: to have us in Him and Him in us, perfectly united.
Creation | God Spoke, and We Went Forth
“By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host.” – Psalm 33:6
Then God did something incredible. He spoke! And when He spoke, EVERYTHING was created. Imagine it: billions of shining lights—us—being sent out as His Word shaped galaxies, planets, and life itself. We drifted further and further from Him, becoming what He intended us to be. But as we moved away, something happened—our brightness faded. The further we got from the source of all light, the dimmer we became. Some even lost their shine completely, becoming like lifeless rocks in space.

We Were Always Meant to Be Us
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” – Jeremiah 1:5
Each of us was always meant to be exactly who we are. You are not a mistake. Your life, your struggles, your journey—God knew it all before you were even born. Even as we drift away, even as we battle through the struggles of life, He has always had a plan to bring us back.
Drifting Away | The Dulling of Our Light
“They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.” – Psalm 14:3
The principle of the God Thought is simple. The further we move from God, the dimmer our light becomes. We see it all around us—darkness creeping into lives, hopelessness, despair. Some people lose their shine completely and just float through life, disconnected from their Creator. This was never God’s design. He never intended for us to be lost in darkness. But because He loves us, He gives us the choice—to turn back to Him or to continue drifting.
The Rapture | When God Inhales

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:16
This is where things get incredible. If Creation was God breathing out, then the rapture is God breathing in. At that moment, those who have chosen Him—who have kept their light burning through faith, prayer, and worship—will be drawn back to Him at a speed faster than light. It’s the return to perfection, the restoration of what was lost.

Keeping the Fire Burning | The God Thought
“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” – Matthew 5:14
Even though our light is just a flicker compared to what it was in Him, we can keep it burning. How? Through the gospel. With prayer and fasting and fellowship. Through praise and worship. Every time we gather as a church, every time we lift His name, every time we choose Him over the world, our light shines brighter.

Time and Eternity | God is Everything
“With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” – 2 Peter 3:8
God is time. He is in time. He is outside of time. Everything happens within His perfect breath. What seems like eternity to us is just one breath to Him. When He exhales again, a new creation will be formed, perfect and whole, just as He designed. This is our hope, our destiny—to be in Him fully and completely once again.
The God Thought | Praise Him for His Greatness!

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” – Ephesians 3:20-21
What does The God Thought mean for us today? It means that no matter how far we have drifted, we can return. That worship is not just something we do—it is the very act of keeping our light burning. It means that when we gather as a church, when we sing, when we praise, we are aligning ourselves with the breath of God.
So today, I encourage you—don’t let your light go out. Draw closer to Him. Worship Him with everything in you. Let’s be ready for that moment when He inhales, and we are drawn back into His perfection.
Amen!
